OUR SERVICES
Pregnancy & Antenatal Care
- Tracking you and your baby’s health throughout your pregnancy is very important.
- We advise you to book with your local hospital as this is where you will birth your baby.
- Caring for mum with advise on diet, exercise and supplements
- We can see you from 24 weeks along side your NHS midwives.
- Discussions 'what to buy' re: equipment, nursery, baby cloths etc.
- From 32 weeks. Personalised antenatal classes for both you and your birthing partner, including relaxation techniques and birth plans.
- All antenatal appointments are conducted in the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient to you.
- Continuity of care helps reduce anxiety leading to a positive birthing experience.
Labour and Birth
- Having a baby should be a positive experience, and we aim to help facilitate this.
- Whether Vaginal birth or Caesarian section we are there to support you.
- We will be on call 24/7 for you to contact us with any questions and concerns
- On call from 37 weeks
- We will be happy to meet you at home and assess before going to the hospital, and be with you throughout the labour, supporting explaining and advising you every step of the way until your baby has arrived.
- Support with skin to skin and breast feeding if that what you choose.
Postpartum and Newborn Care
- After your baby is born we will be there to support and assist you in the care and well being of you and your baby.
- We will come to the hospital and then in your home.
- We will physically check both you and baby.
- If you choose to breast feed it is important you get good advice as soon as posssible.
- Support with feeding breast, mix or formula. Expressing and storing breast milk.
- We will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide any assistance and support you need.
- Physical and emotional support
- Baby routine - sleeping, feeding, nap and bed times. Parental survival guidence.
What We Do
- We offer an initial free consultation either by phone or face to face to discuss our services and your wishes to find the best package for you. It also helps to ensure we are the right midwife for you, it is important that you feel confident and comfortable with this person through this exciting, emotional and scary journey.
- If we agree to work together we will discuss the best package for you and arrange a plan of care convenient to you in the comfort of your home.
- Continuity is the most important aspect, no conflicting information, no repeating your history, no waiting in clinics.
- Our visits are approximately 2 hours long but can vary depending on the needs of the day - we do not rush
- We are contactable via phone, text, whatsapp and email for questions and advice.
- All our packages are designed especially for you.
